Seraph ("we", "us") is a wedding stationery and branding studio based in Cape Town, South Africa. We respect your privacy and process personal information in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA). This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.

What we collect

We only collect what we need to design and deliver your stationery:

• Contact details you send us — your name, email address and phone number.
• Wedding details you share — names, dates, venues, guest names and addresses, and any wording for your stationery.
• Billing and delivery details when you place an order.
• Basic technical information from your browser when you visit this site, such as device type and pages viewed.

How we use it

• To respond to your enquiry and prepare quotes.
• To design, proof, print and deliver your order.
• To invoice you and keep the records the law requires.
• To improve this website.

We will never sell your personal information, and we don't send marketing without your consent.

Who we share it with

Only the people who help us deliver your order — printers, couriers and payment providers — and only what they need to do their part. Each is required to keep your information confidential. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.

Guest information

If you give us your guests' names or addresses, you confirm that you're entitled to share them with us for the purpose of producing and sending your stationery. We use them for nothing else.

How long we keep it

We keep project files for as long as needed to complete your order and handle any reprints, and financial records for as long as tax law requires. After that, we delete or anonymise them.

Keeping it safe

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information against loss, misuse and unauthorised access.

Your rights

Under POPIA you may ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. To do any of these, email hello@seraph.co.za. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you may complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa.

Cookies

This site doesn't use advertising or tracking cookies. Your browser may store small amounts of data to make the site work, such as remembering that you've already seen the opening animation.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
